Welcome to the jungle.

I´ve been here at my site for about two weeks now. Time sure does fly in Ecuador. My site is amazing. I work with a foundation that´s basically run by this huge family. There is never a dull moment here at the caves! We had a minga last week to plant cacao and platano and also to finish the dry composting toilet. I helped them open a bank account (the bank in Tena has air conditioning...best two hours ever.) Other than that, I´ve been hanging out, tromping around the jungle, playing with the kids and learning to cook Ecuacuisine. I highly suggest that if you are reading this blog, you come to visit.
